Israel is not just retaliating for Oct 7th, it is trying to systematically wreck the health and chances of survival of the Palestinian people now and decades into the future by targeting skilled medical professionals.
The initial impact is absolutely horrific, but the intentionality and the long tail of attacking medics and their hospital facilities takes the levels of inhumanity to previously unknown depths.
