Embracing cosmic divinity. To structure or to break free. Following the flow of chaos.
Saturn forms a sextile to Uranus, Mars forms a sextile to Uranus, and Mars forms a trine to Saturn. When two planets (in this case Mars and Saturn) form a sextile to an apex planet (in this case Uranus) and a trine to one another, an aspect pattern known as a minor grand trine is formed. This alignment produces what I can only imagine to be a sort of cosmic flow state. Resistance is removed. The floodgates are opened. The essence of the universe bleeds freely through.
What’s even more significant, is the essence of the energies involved. Saturn is the need to structure. Uranus is the need to break free from structure. In a way, they oppose one another.
I find that within many modern spiritual spaces, the universe is viewed as a divine patriarch, determining with concrete force the fate of everything within its domain. To be favoured by the divine patriarch, we are told we must be good and pure. I find this perspective to be very Saturnian. It’s deliberate and structured. It provides a sense of comfort to believe that a higher power is in control. However, this is also a restricting perspective.
Remember that what is structured must eventually be broken down. Structure is not concrete, nor is it infinite. Chaos will always re-emerge regardless of whether we want it to or not.
What in your own life needs to be broken down? Can you accept that the structures you’ve created will one day need to be abolished? Do you find yourself drawn more to divine structure or divine chaos? Why might this be?
Will you escape divine patriarchy, or will you be a pundit in its implementation?
