She said, "Under the Act, The #Government of India will issue a notification exempting certain Data Fiduciaries or class of Data Fiduciaries, including startups, from certain provisions of the #DPDPAct. This notification will be based on the volume and nature of #personaldata processed."

Government to release Digital Personal Data Protection Rules by month-end
The Indian government is set to release Digital Personal Data Protection Rules by this month's end, with full enactment expected by 2025.
