Finally made it back to #DenverBotanicGardens last Sunday. Been too hot to go all summer. Desert Willow Shrubs with their amazing ruffled bell shaped flowers were in full bloom. Here are a couple of examples, both image overlays.

#FloralFancy #18 of an exhibit that never saw the light of day but one I want to share. The theme was painterly images of flowers taken with my camera using a variety of techniques. This image of desert willow tree blossoms was overlaid with a grassy groundcover for added texture. This is the final image from the exhibit.
