"Guided Meditation to Communicate with Your Deity"

I used to have this as a video in my YouTube channel, but I am no longer active on Youtube and have deleted all of my videos and playlists there.
Down below is a link to a blog with the written version of the meditation. Feel free to record it for yourself and play it, or let someone read it to you.

The meditation is suitable for any deity. You can use it if you have already established a connection to a deity, but also if you are still in the process of doing this.

Guided Meditation To Communicate With Your Deity

A guided pagan meditation

Andreaโ€™s Blog
Did some candle work today. I usually carve Elder Futhark runes and use a charcoal oil mix for the black lettering.
I light these candles when Iโ€™m calling the assistants, energy, power or audience of the pagan gods and goddesses I work with or my ancestors.

I get my candles from thrift shops mostly. I know Iโ€™m taking a chance not knowing what wax is being burned but itโ€™s more cost efficient and sustainable for me now than other options.

These people that talk about how to "use" a deity in your craft. Don't know if they amuse me or make me angry.

How do you think about that?

My experience working with deities [CC]

YouTube

after a long time, i finally got a connection with a deity, the incredible lady athena, we started working together a little while ago, and i'm very happy with everything that's been happening, but i have some doubts and a little fear of spoiling all.

for example, if at some point in the future, I wish to connect with another deity, are there any limits or barriers that athena follows? I already know, for example, from her and lady aphrodite's dynamics, that it wouldn't be very nice to worship both (correct me if I'm wrong, please) so are there more of those dynamics I should know about?

sorry for any grammatical errors!

For me, the harp is not just a musical instrument. Itโ€™s a way for me to give offerings to the gods and how I can get in a meditative state
Also, it might sound clichรฉ, but the harp connects me to the spirits of the land/of nature although I donโ€™t consider fairies to be small, sweet creatures with wings and think of the depiction of them with harps is a modern legend/misconception
Do other people on here also use their instruments for spiritual purposes? #pagan #deitywork #witch

Em hotep~! Let's talk a little about #Nebthet.

Nebthet (Nebet-Hwt) is a Predynastic (6,000 BCE - 3200 BCE) Deity. She is the goddess of death and mourning, sometimes listed as a river goddess.

One of my favourite aspects of her was a beer goddess the Ancients would pray to for no hangovers the next day. ๐Ÿคฃ

She eventually became part of the Iunu (Heliopolis) group, The Ennead, making her the last born and sister to Usir, Heru-Wer, Set, and Iset. Nebthet is famously known for helping Iset in the Usir Myths.

Contrary to some beliefs, Nebthet was a rather popular goddess on her own. She was actually the first deity alongside Set to help fight against The Nope Rope each night. And had her own temples, especially during the New Kingdom.

As a Chief Mortuary deity, Nebthet was one of the protectors of a canopic jar. Specifically of Hapi, who guarded the lungs.

She has many associations from the Bennu, or pheonix, to panthers, leopards, and kites (a type of falcon,) even dolphins!

Nebthet, aside from being an important mortuary goddess, was a fierce protection deity who carried epithets like Eye of Ra and Whose Flame is Painful.

Dua Nebthet.

Seventh night of eight or nine rituals for my deity work.

Lesson learned: Don't just look at the date to determine the new moon; pay close attention to the hour. The new moon is on the 23rd which can make you think it's 2 nights away, but in essence, it's actually tomorrow night since it's happening at around 2 AM.

I might have to do two rituals tomorrow night, Goddess willing. I do hope this doesn't ruin my odds.

Happy Winter Solstice, everybody!

Sixth night of eight or nine rituals for my deity work.

Lessons learned: Don't be stingy with candles, especially since not all glass candleholders are made equal (they can explode). Replace the candle as soon as it's lower than the rim.

Also, take note when your ritual involves aspergeing (or is it asperging?) around the room. Before ritual, cover bookshelves & other paper items with a towel. Unplug all electronics & maybe cover extension cords with towels, as well.
