David Christopher Haubenstock, the only son of Romy Schneider, died at the age of 14 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye after a tragic accident. While climbing a metal fence with sharp spikes, he suffered a fatal injury and later died despite medical intervention. His sudden death had a devastating and lasting impact on his mother.
