I am familiar with lab glassware but I'm not into photography so when I found these "measuring cups" at a resale shop, I thought they were for cooking? TIL these are used in darkrooms for developing film. Would love to learn why these are shaped the way they are and why the graduations are raised glass.
I was antique hunting in Crystal Lake and scored 2 more pieces of darkroom glass for my collection.
Both were mislabeled as kitchenware even though the 8 oz was clearly marked on the bottom with the words "For Photographic Use Only."
