The weary business of having to get legal costs to fight a council-led development that the council itself will ultimately decide on. (The massive defunding of local councils has been terrible, of course, and is part of this story: loss of expertise, govt bullying of the ones thay try to make good planning decisions, but still, when they go wrong they need to be called out.) #peatlands #EverdayEcocide
