Seeing how there were no lists of the tallest fountains found online nor using AI, we decided to create one here on panethos.wordpress.com. The fountains are listed by the maximum height the water can attain under ideal conditions. FYI: The height attainable is not necessarily the same height these fountains normally operate.
Please note that some fountains jet upward, while others stream downward. No distinction is made between designs/styles, other than those that are located indoors are identified.
Lastly, a minimum height of 30 feet was required for inclusion. This fairly low number was chosen so that some historic fountains could be included in the list. The measurement is to the apex of the water, not necessarily the structure. As a result, there may be a number of other fountains not listed that could be added. Please feel free to pass any along that may have been missed. Any other corrections or suggestions are welcome.
Enjoy the list and peace to all!
*Those fountains shown in bold italics have been seen by the author.
