Saturday #DailyDram is Wild Turkey Rare Breed #bourbon. Always a reliable pick and great value for money, loaded with brown sugar, maple, cherry, and baking spice notes. At 116.8 proof, there’s a little heat, but not nearly what you’d expect at so high an abv.

A #DailyDram every evening is one of my personal habits. Tonight is a switch up from my usual #whiskey, with a pour of Remy Martin 1738 Accord Royal #cognac. It balances nicely the fresh fruit of a younger VSOP style #brandy with oak, dried fruit, and a little rancio more like an XO. My favorite cognac and a nice companion to unwinding at the end of a long week.
