Speaking of #electronics, I managed to do a software upgrade of my #Hantek #DSO5102P #oscilloscope. They basically threw the same ingredients in three different scopes, with different price tags and firmwares allowing for 70 MHz, 100 MHz and 200 MHz sampling rate respectively. Unaware of this, I went for the sweet spot and bought the 100 MHz model, known as the DSO5102P. With a little fidgeting, I managed to gain access to it's #Linux console and patch the firmware, convincing it that it's now a 200 MHz #DSO5202P model, allowing twice the sampling rate. I don't need it AT ALL, but boredom makes you do weird things! 😆
