I've taken my Awful Cursed Drawing practice to a new level of Terrifying by incorporating imagination. Like turning Bonus Kid on the couch into a literal potato. #DHmakes #DHtries

I'd been practicing basic tatted chains for the last month and finally took a workshop. Learned some things but honestly, did almost as much un-tatting as tatting, ended up with a mess, and burned out my patience for the day. Lovely examples to aspire to another day, though. #DHmakes #DHtries

#DHtries Wanted to use masking (cutout paper) over a solid block of type (reusing recent proj type), to create vaguely lettered background shapes for a print of Hopkin's Pied Beauty. 1st cuts too thin to show; 2nd+3rd show but needed impression level beats up paper & just didn't look like I wanted?
