Por circunstancias estoy comparando una versión de una película procedente de un DCP IMAX de cines con su versión doméstica.
- El montaje es idéntico pero hay un incremento en la duración debido a la aparición de un logo adicional. Ok.
- La versión que viene del DCP ocupa menos de la mitad y no está en 4K y aún así luce, para mí, mejor. El color y la nitidez son más atractivos.
Esto me lleva a varias teorías:
- ¿Las versiones para cines IMAX de películas IMAX modifican su versión para darle más punch visual y diferenciarla más todavía del resto de salas?
- ¿Las versiones domésticas se ajustan en exceso para acomodarlas a las propiedades de los televisores medios?
Ambas posibilidades me parecen posibles. De hecho, tengo pruebas de que el audio es claramente peor en las ediciones domésticas ya que se masteriza para que suene bien en altavoces malos y pequeños.
