The rhetoric about "release the hounds" is popular in some circles. Why should the hounds never be allowed to go after the people who got rich selling broken products? Especially when they get told they're broken and refuse to fix them. #CyberCon
It would be lovely if people could be relied on to take responsibility without being legally compelled. But many are not. So what do you do about that? #CyberCon
The liability vs responsibility thing is challenging to work through. In many regimes, especially the USA, legal liability is the mechanism used to ensure responsibility happens. #CyberCon
Highlights the systemic nature of the challenge, and that those with the power and responsibility are the ones who need to do the work. #CyberCon
