Jitsch“New” anime: #BinanKoukouChikyuuBoueibu Haikara is… following a formula. The first episode didn’t really blow me off my feet but the second kind of felt pleasant because it’s nothing more and nothing less than you can expect it to be.
The chraracters are nothing special and Shin saying “haikara” twice in each sentence is annoying. But I like the cat mascot, although the “cats are fluid” seems very contemporary and not fitting with the setting 🤨
One thing that might explain why I couldn’t find this on any streaming platform is how heavily loaded this is with puns that only work in Japanese. Not only the names of the victims of the week, even their powers… I am not sure I could follow and I know Japanese quite well.
