Dr Annetta MallonOk, I want to take a moment to thank each and every person who has called, sent a card, texted, messaged, emailed or called by to show support and love for Peter Mallon and myself since Cully's death.
Yes, mum's death was challenging for me, but Cully touched so many lives and brought so much joy to all of us - even letting the world know of his death was a more complex undertaking than I first thought it would be. The love and care shown by so many of you has genuinely left a warm and shining Mark in my heart - and helped get me through some overwhelmingly sad days and nights.
From Tammy calling Larisa to go hug Peter as soon as I got the news, to all the immediate and ongoing messages of love, to today's unexpected and gorgeous care package from Cindy Kaufman in Colorado, everyone has been so caring and generous in their compassion.
Thank you all. So much. There are no words but my heart overflows with gratitude and appreciation. Come to Platypus Rest - I'll put the kettle on and you can check out Cully's photo wall.
