First #tarot reading of the year is really… mixed. #WeeklyTarot - I can’t decide whether to pay attention to the reversals. So I’m going with what resonates and this week I’m ignoring them. #WeeklyTarot Queen of Swords (perceptive, clear minded, clear boundaries); five of wands (competition, rivalry, petty fighting); the hanged man (patience, waiting, inner peace, mindfulness). Hanged man actually came up reversed so other possible interpretations include “Delays, resistance, stalling, indecision”. I was thinking “work” for the first card and I do not feel independent and clear. Otherwise the reading resonates and I will sit with what to keep in mind. #tarot #CreaturesTarot

I spent some time with my #CreaturesTarot today. @sarakathleenuk made a set of Additional Arcana. I went through them side by side with the main deck and chose which cards I’m going to use in my daily deck. I went with whichever card resonated most at that moment so I’ll switch it up sometimes. It was a fun exercise and I understand why she released these optional cards. Here are some examples. I chose the left card for the world and the right cards for judgment and the moon #tarot

It’s a tough day at my job, continuing a rough streak in my industry. I decided to take some time for contemplation and drew a #tarot card asking what should I focus on today. And I drew The Empress. How amazingly apt on such a day. “Self care, flourishing, natural abundance, blooming life force”. Remembering to value what I have and the abundance in which I live and that caring for myself is positive. As is caring for those who surround me. #CreaturesTarot

After last week’s positivity, this week’s “all cups all the time” reading feels much more unhappy. Eight of Cups (Moving on, walking away, leaving); Five of Cups (Sadness, disappointment, failure); Seven of Cups (Making choices, opportunities).
