CreaCube research on creative problem solving

The #CreaCube framework aims to study creative problem-solving and computational thinking in an educational context. #CreaCube is part of the CreaMaker research programme (ANR CreaMaker, Horizon augMENTOR, Artificial Intelligence Devoted to Education -AIDE-). The core of the framework is the #CreaCube task, an open-ended challenge where participants build a functional vehicle from a set of unfamiliar modular robotic cubes.…

🏆 Our paper with Sylvie Barma Analyzing an interactive problem-solving task through the lens of #doublestimulation https://lnkd.in/diw8y6XQ has been awarded the CNIE Editor’s Award for the Canadian Journal of Learning and Technology (CJLT)
I'm 🤩 not only because this is the fruit of a wonderful collaboration that started 10 years ago at CRIRES but also because this paper applies the principle of #doublestimulation to #CreaCube.
Thanks to ANR and Modular Robotics (Eric Schweikardt, @Cleoqc).

Insightful visit from Nicole Parrot @CleoQc ,
Modular Robotics director of technology 😎. I ❤️ how these cubes created by Dr. Eric Schweikardt could seem individually simple but are collectively complex! 🙏 Eric, for your invention & Nicole for your expertise! 🤩 #CreaCube task 🎲🎲🎲🎲

NeuroMod Institut annual meeting 2023

Three years ago, I met Patricia Reynaud-Bouret (Neuromod) to discuss mathematical modelling in creative problem-solving. We then started a collaboration with Louis Köhler, which permitted us to better define the #CreaCube configurations and operationalise the edit distance. Louis continued to expand further on this research challenge in collaboration with Inria team Mnémosyne (EAx Artificial Intelligence Devoted to Education, ANR…
