Cerys Matthews welcomes Detroit techno pioneer Jeff Mills to discuss Tomorrow Comes The Harvest, the improvisational project he began with Afrobeat legend Tony Allen, now continuing with Jean-Philippe Dary and tabla virtuoso Prabhu Edouard. Mills reflects on the spirit of spontaneity behind their new single “The Happening” and the forthcoming album Forbidden Planet, due early 2026.
Also in the show, Cerys is joined by Craig Charles to celebrate 6 Music’s Way With Words - a week of programming marking National Poetry Day. Craig shares his passion for spoken word, poetry, and lyrical storytelling, with special guests and performances from across the UK’s vibrant poetry scene.
