This is a must-watch. Thank Dog for Jon Stewart. In it, he struggles with trying to #sanewash #LeonMuck's Nazi salute and states that the 6 richest men in America control all the news. That's not entirely true. There are still Indy Web sources like Mastodon and Indy news sources like @JonathanLarsen. So maybe the lesson here is to get off the corporate information teat and go Indy.

When Obama was sworn in, Republican "patriots" said, "I would rather see America fail than see Obama succeed." It's true, look it up.
Now, they have Trump and his oligarch cabal, who WILL fail. It's in his DNA. He's failed at everything he's ever tried. But, this time, the two are tied. Trump's failure will be America's failure.
When we're all stumbling around in a burned-out crater, looking for old Cambell's Soup cans to survive, we'll finally be able to look back and admit our grave national mistake.
We resist by enduring. We let them destroy America because we can't stop them. Our strength is in our survival.
