In March 2021, ParkMobile had a data breach, exposing personal information of over 20 million users including email addresses, phone numbers, and license plate numbers.

In one of the rarer cases to date, operators of hotel brands owned by #InterContinental Hotels Group say they suffered lost sales and other damages after a September cyberattack led to an outage of the company's central reservation system. Now franchisees are suing IHG to recover some of the losses.
