Ah, the Bezos Blog

Weird, that’s the second time a CTV news link has morphed into a broken ‘access denied’ page.

Interestingly, if you search for the headline you’ll find this story has been seeded across a number of ‘competing’ outlets. Yay, Canadian corporate news media!

Chomsky quotes the Australian scholar #AlexCarey, who inspired his own work on corporate propaganda: “The twentieth century has been characterized by three developments of great political importance: the growth of democracy; the growth of #corporatePower; and the growth of #corporatePropaganda as a means of protecting corporate power #AgainstDemocracy.”
On the one hand, I generally find Diversity Equity Inclusion in the workplace offensive, as it's presented as the company taking care of me while its primary purpose is to protect the company from lawsuits. Corporate HR trying to con workers that people who moved from sh*tty jobs regret it. Especially Gen Z is there, hands clasped, begging for old jobs back.

Pure corporate propaganda. It’s part of the narrative because it costs $$$ to train people and that digs into profits, which of course is the only concern.

Taken from Fortune, no link, because it’s crap, The gaslighting of American workers continues unabated.
