The most interesting thing though? No matter the region or origin, there are common elements to be found in the practices and beliefs #coreshamanism

This article on Core #Shamanism touches on a lot of things Ive been very sensitive to while exploring where i stand in the #neopagan spectrum; culture appropriation, historical context, arbitrary selection of practices, and self identification. Every touchpoint on #CoreShamanism Ive been feeling on the #NeoPaganism movement.

And the points about these still being valid practices if these speak to you too! I haven't started looking into #shamanism yet, but it is on my research list.

It's reassuring to know that I'm on the right path to want to know the historical contexts of #paganism before i commit myself to different practices.
