@BicycleBen the UK still participates in (some of?) the Copernicus missions it seems, so it remains relevant for the UK. however, if you're into this whole space Copernicus, ECMWF, etc. are heavily on social media, and also includes #CopernicusSanta
they just launched a new Sentinel-4 two weeks ago for atmospheric pollution: https://defence-industry-space.ec.europa.eu/copernicus-sentinel-4s-successful-launch-enhance-eu-pollution-monitoring-2025-07-02_en
the data is all open, too, i believe.
