2. Community norm suggestion: if you're tooting about good or bad news about yourself, 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒕𝒆𝒓. It's common practice here on Mastodon. E.g., talking about a paper acceptance or rejection, announcing you won an award, etc. #CW
