Join us to learn how clean energy opportunities can benefit Carbondale residents, businesses, and community organizations.

Join the City of Carbondale, the Clean Energy Jobs and Justice Fund (CEJJF), and EcoHealth Strategies for a Clean Energy Town Hall to learn about new opportunities for solar energy, financing programs, and upcoming clean energy projects in Carbondale.

This event will provide residents, businesses, faith-based organizations, and contractors with clear information on:

• How solar energy works and how it can reduce energy bills

• State programs such as Illinois Shines and Illinois Solar for All

• Financing options available through the Solar Energy Loan Fund (SELF)

• The City’s Public-Private Partnership (P3) Plan and emerging clean energy projects

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, connect with clean energy partners, and learn how to participate in upcoming projects that support lower energy costs, local jobs, and community resilience.

Written proposals are highly encouraged and can be sent to a CARE facilitator through signal (Don't know a facilitator? ask a punk!).
