I finally got a copy of the obscure ass album "Marty Thau Presents 2x5, New York New Wave". This album was released in 1980 and it includes #TheFleshtones, #Revelons, #Comateens, #StudentTeachers and, most interestingly, #BloodlessPharaohs.

"Why", you may ask, "would I give a shit about the Bloodless Pharaohs?"

"Well", perhaps, I would interject, "you might find it interesting to know that the Bloodless Pharaohs are one of #BrianSetzers first bands!"

So, yes, this is one of the first recordings that led up to the #StrayCats!
The album is awesome and the CD was finally released in 2005 which is when my Sansa MP3 player was built!

Another LP that I would have probably hated during my Punk Rock Purist teen years (too lightweight, too funky, too fragile, too SoHo Artist Loft dilettante, too fadeout-at-the-end). But in these dissolute days, it sounds right and appropriate. #Comateens #NewWave #NYC #Vinyl
