Phil Johnston#climateQuestion If I get a loan, it comes with interest. But to get enough money to pay that interest, I have to “grow” my money somehow. For example, I can’t just sell my house. I also need to earn the interest. Therefore I wonder, is interest the cause of constant growth, and thus, the climate crisis on a finite, non growing planet? Can we stop the climate crisis without removing loan interest?
