@palendae @enron yeah, Nomad Century by Gaia Vince is really good on this. Points out 4c rise perfectly possible by end of century (we're currently on track for that, basically) and if so a wide band around the equator will be completely uninhabitable, with a large band of desert either side and only the very North and South will be suitable for humans and food growing. Mostly the North as very little land in the South save Patagonia, NZ and Antarctica.
