@chu
I understand but I have friends who have university degrees (I don't) whose answer to #ClimateChange is: "The earth has always gone through #ClimateCycles. This is just one more cycle. I have been at the "Advise about #ClimateChange since the early 2,000's. Zero success. They are either convinced already or "the planet has been changing since forever and we ain't the cause of it". Nevertheless - I keep at it on social media. 🙂
Study: 'Warm ice age' changed climate cycles

Approximately 700,000 years ago, a "warm ice age" permanently changed the climate cycles on Earth. Contemporaneous with this exceptionally warm and moist period, the polar glaciers greatly expanded. A European research team including Earth scientists from Heidelberg University used recently acquired geological data in combination with computer simulations to identify this seemingly paradoxical connection.

I love the answers by scientists in this @arstechnica piece about #ClimateCycles (ht @andrewdessler ), but it's also a really great introduction to the effects of #Volcanoes #ENSO, #GlacialCycles #milankovitch etc on the climate system...

All the ways the most common bit of climate misinformation is wrong

We've looked at natural cycles and causes. None of them can produce this warming.
