Lewis Pugh, 53, from Plymouth/ England swam the 315 miles of the Hudson River, to highlight the importance of clean rivers, one of which the Hudson is again today.

The organization he also runs, the Lewis Pugh Foundation wants 30% of the world's oceans fully protected by 2030 by assigning marine areas protected against pollution.
