A #Castlevania #CIrcleOfTheMoon fan port for the Sega Mega Drvie/Genesis has a demo out now. The maker of it posted a comment on this Time Extension article saying that Hugh Baldwin is also in the early stages of being a playable character. There was also a comment from February noting that it would be too much work to remake all the sprites at a size which better matched the console's greater resolution, so original sprites were being used with two options for resolution. From the posted video of the demo the sample rate on than the vocals for "Requiem" (the lyrics are "kyrie eleison," a Christian prayer) seems to be lower, but Nathan Graves effort noises sound the same as on GBA.

You Can Play Castlevania: Circle Of The Moon's Unofficial Genesis / Mega Drive Port Now

Update: Public demo now available

Time Extension

After doing the dishes and making the overnight oatmeal last night I was trying to think of what game to play. My mind wandered to Castlevania. I’d never played #CircleOfTheMoon before, but that might be a reason to.

Oh humidity, making these work days much more hot then I’d like.
