I was bummed when Finland was awarded a penalty, but when Kuika stepped up, I thought that of course I want HER to score.

Switzerland ends up getting the tying goal, and move on to the knockout stage.

As far as I can tell this is the first time the Chicago Red Stars have swept Reign FC in a season.
They did win 2 games vs Reign FC in 2019, but the teams met 3 times that season, and the Reign won the first encounter, before the Red Stars won the final 2. Chicago went on to the finals in that season.

I don't get why this Chicago Angel City game is starting so late. 8:45 PM local time seems like an odd choice for the Midwest. Guessing attendance will not be their best (and I'm a little grumpy about not being able to attend such a late game).

To be honest, I didn't have the highest hopes, but they brought chaos and delivered a win against a strong Reign team.

It was my first time seeing the Reign in person. Fishlock is tiny, while Huytima towers over everyone.
