The thing I loved seeing the most on my #RoadTrip was rivers, streams and creeks alongside the road. Going down #TailOfTheDragon there was the Little Tennessee River and another on the #Cherohala Skyway on the way to #Tellico Beach.
The problem is, you just can't photograph their beauty. The rolling rapids, the sound of the water, the whitewashing of breaking waves.... it's all magical.
What makes you happy?
For me, oddly, it's driving. Tomorrow I'm driving to #Robbinsville #NC - down The Tail of the Dragon and staying the night. The next day I'm going to slowly cruise the Cherohala #Skyway across the mountains of the #TN and NC borders.
Taking my dog so he can smell things he'll never smell again and 💩 in places he can never poop in again.

@helderweb I actually had a trip planned out for this weekend too. There is hope I could get my car in time, but I'm not sure I should hold my breath. I'm hoping for some car karma - I'd love to take this trip.
Cincinnati to #Robbinsville NC (down Tail of the Dragon). Then across #Cherohala Skyway and back to Cincinnati.
