Food is the obvious thing to check...
But do you know that many medicines have expiration dates,, too? Yep - they do... And many are not really long... like a year or less.
At the rate I use things like Nyquil - I really need a small travel size container... those normal ones are a waste of ~3/4 of container. & $$.
