I have an uncanny fixer upper ability.
I am able to scavenge older smartphones for components and "brickbuild" working ones, I can 'fix' older consoles and make functional repairs. They are never extremely well or look great but they are creative at least.
Here is a fix 5 minute fix for an Power A Switch (one) Pro Controller.
Its a cable controller I bought as I bought my switch back in 2019 (? I honestly don't remember the exact year could look it up but Wayne 🤷🏽♀️).
Iver the years the rubber topping on the left stick eroded and crumbled more and more, I fixed what I could with super glue but rubber and glue aren't best friends to begin with. So two days ago the rubber started to turn into a fine dust and this made the control unpleasant to use long term. Putting on rubber covers from another controller could have helped but I didn't wanted to sacrifice anything from a working controller and I don't want to buy a new one either. So I came up with this solution instead.
Be thankful I haven't documented my RGB lighting Xbox controller repair, the designer and production company would rotate in disbelief. :D
