Watch my little friend here rehydrate before your very eyes! This sample is from ASPA135 near #CaseyStation in #Antarctica, we desiccate and freeze our samples to store them & rehydrate them to identify which species they are 🌿

Visual estimates tell me this is #Bryum & either #Ceratodon or #Schistidium, but I’ll have to check their cell shape to tell!
