L'Unità: Schianto sull’A1 tra Ceprano e Pontecorvo: tre operai morti nell’incidente, stavano raggiungendo un cantiere
Gravissimo incidente sull’autostrada A1 Milano-Napoli in mattinata: tre morti nello schianto nel tratto compreso tra Ceprano e Pontecorvo. Vittime che andranno ad aggiungersi alle statistiche dei morti sul tragitto per raggiungere il posto di lavoro: erano tre operai. Sul posto necessario l’intervento dei Vigili del Fuoco per liberare i corpi dei tre incastrati tra le lamiere del mezzo. Coda di almeno cinque chilometri a causa del blocco del traffico, disagi risolti in qualche ora.
L’incidente si è verificato intorno alle 7:30, direzione Sud, nel territorio di Arce, in provincia di Frosinone. Il furgone dell’impresa edile trasportava alcuni operai su un cantiere in provincia di Cassino. Si è scontrato con un altro mezzo. Alla guida un automobilista di Frosinone che è stato ricoverato in codice rosso all’ospedale Santa Scolastica di Cassino. Ancora da chiarire le cause dello schianto molto violento. Sul posto stanno operando il personale di società Autostrade, i sanitari del 118 e la polizia stradale della sottosezione di Cassino. Mobilitato anche il sistema di emergenza sanitaria, con diversi mezzi del 118 e l’intervento dell’elisoccorso: alcuni feriti sono stati trasferiti negli ospedali della zona.
Il traffico è continuato a scorrere sulla strada, dopo alcuni disagi tra rallentamenti e code, anche se su una sola corsia. In corso i rilievi per ricostruire la dinamica dell’accaduto. Secondo i dati del 2025 i morti sul lavoro sono stati 792, in diminuzione rispetto all’anno precente. In aumento tuttavia il dato delle vittime che si stavano recando sul posto di lavoro: in “itinere” sono morte 293 persone, 13 in più rispetto al 2024. In aumento anche gli incidenti mortali in “itinere” delle lavoratrici passate da 32 a 51.

The driver, an automobilist from Frosinone, was hospitalized in code red at the Santa Scolastica Hospital in Cassino. The causes of the violent collision are still being investigated. Autostrade personnel, 118 paramedics, and the Cassino road police are operating at the scene. The emergency healthcare system has also been mobilized, with several 118 vehicles and the helicopter rescue service: some injured were transferred to hospitals in the area.
