Heh! Testing over a decade ahead of time. Optimists! (-:

People won't put the bodge in place until the last minute, if it's anything like how the similar windowing bodges for the Century Bug series 1 (Only another 75 years to go until series 2!) were deployed.

That said, manufacturers could be banking on DVB-T2 being the norm by then.

An unusual one. On all of the LS-120s that I've had, the manual ejection pinhole is in the middle of the eject button itself.

If it is an LS-120, then that oscilloscope might have the "Infinium performance upgrade kit", in which case it's actually DOS+Windows 98.

Are you going to do the safety check when December 2109 rolls around? (-:

@matty @bytebro Back then it would have been "Venables' team" that would have been correct, but received wisdom has changed a bit in recent years and I've seen "s's" in serious style guides nowadays.

Maybe one day we'll persuade people to do the sensible thing and use 4 digits for years in dates, too.

You'll have the last laugh. Anyone born that recently will still be around and in an at-risk group the next time that it crops up, because it's a century bug not a millennium bug, in reality.

And whereas people who had to deal with it last time only had about 40 years of accumulated bad practice to fix, the people who have to deal with it next time will have a full century's. I saw people switching back to 2 digit years as early as 2004.
