Swiftwind eventually left hir Star Fleet career for the private sector as a test pilot, as flying capital ships did not let hir really push the envelope like shi really wanted to. Since Star Fleet personnel usually stay in the service or transfer to the Star Corps, that got the attention of a bi-annual pilot's magazine, who shi was more than willing to do an interview and photoshoot for.

This is an idea I'd been trying to get done for a while, but it's harder than you'd think to find an artist that does do these sorts of fake magazine covers AND has a visual style I liked.

Final #Sneptember #Cattaurday post! This was actually the first ever image I commissioned for Swiftwind(as shi had only existed in Second Life before that) and actually paid for it with Lindens in SL at the time.

There's a few features that hadn't been solidified yet - no back stripe for example, and hir hair is down rather than tied up, but I still think it works very well as a teenage version of hir.
