Un disegno di Michelangelo Buonarroti, appartenente alla Christ Church di Oxford, ritrae una scena domestica della Sacra Famiglia con tanto di gatto. Maria, seduta a terra, si appresta a filare, mentre San Giuseppe dorme e i piccoli Gesù e San Giovanni sono al centro della scena; in basso, un gatto si avvicina di soppiatto a una culla.
Il disegno è datato tra il 1515 e il 1520.

A drawing by Michelangelo Buonarroti, belonging to Christ Church, Oxford, depicts a domestic scene of the Holy Family complete with a cat. Mary, seated on the ground, is preparing to spin, while St. Joseph is asleep and little Jesus and St. John are in the center of the scene; below, a cat sneaks up to a cradle.
The drawing is dated between 1515 and 1520.
