Roma, 21 apr. (Adnkronos) - "Il sistema internazionale di sicurezza è oggi sotto forte pressione. Non è accettabile che 54 Stati membri dell'Africa non abbiano rappresentanza permanente nel Consiglio di sicurezza delle Nazioni Unite. Non si tratta di una concessione, ma di una necessità per la legittimità e l'efficacia del sistema internazionale. Le decisioni su pace e sicurezza globale non possono essere prese senza il contributo dell'Africa. Serve un sistema multilaterale capace di riflettere le realtà del mondo di oggi". Lo ha detto William Samoei Ruto, presidente del Kenya, intervenendo all'evento "Kenya: un grande paese che guarda al futuro", presso il Campus Luiss Guido Carli di Roma.

Rome, April 21 (Adnkronos) - "The international security system is today under strong pressure. It is unacceptable that 54 member states of Africa have no permanent representation on the Security Council of the United Nations. This is not a concession, but a necessity for the legitimacy and effectiveness of the international system. Decisions on peace and global security cannot be made without the contribution of Africa. There is need for a multilateral system capable of reflecting the realities of today’s world.” This was said by William Samoei Ruto, President of Kenya, speaking at the event "Kenya: a great country looking to the future", at the Luiss Guido Carli Campus in Rome.
