Why are fuel pumps?
I'm currently working on the mechanical fuel pump on a Toyota Starlet, and the factory one that a friend brought over (pulled from another starlet motor) is just so completely different that I'm sure even before testing that the fuel pump this car has had on it has been the source of a lot of its problems.
I don't know what to do next...
I could try another ebay #ECU, pour another $100 down the drain, and pray that it's not fried too.
I could try to replace the original ECU and wiring with a modern #MegaSquirt ECU.
I could tear all the fucking #fuelinjection shit out, find some #carburetors, linkage, manifolds, and low pressure fuel pump.
I could buy a $20k electric conversion kit.
I could set it on fire and roll it into the Columbia river.
