Made a mess of my Mirage's door last night trying to use self-tapping screws. They're supposed to grip on their own but the metal is too thin.

I gave up at this point, and arranged a return, but a Crutchfield tech got back to me after I'd boxed everything up with what now seems like an obvious solution.
