Official Statement on earlier lockdown at Cannon AFB (apparently a false report).

" Cannon Air Force Base deemed ALL CLEAR following reports of Active Shooter CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. — Around 12:07 p.m., Cannon Air Force Base Security Forces received reports of an active shooter on base. Base leadership takes these reports seriously, and as such, security forces immediately initiated active shooter protocol. Active shooter protocol involves a base lockdown, seeking shelter immediately, and securing facilities. Additionally, no movement is allowed on or off base. Cannon AFB Security Forces secured the area of concern and conducted sweeps across base. There are no reported injuries nor are there any suspects. Cannon AFB has been deemed all clear as of 1:03 p.m. "
