New Obey Me app = sweaty snake summer!!!

I'm very curious what they'll do with this "lifestyle app" with the beginning conceit of enjoying married life with your favorite demon brother. Some people suspect it'll be like LaDS since that's very popular right now, but one of my other friends said the current description sounds more like Pokémon Sleep.

I don't trust Solmare to create a consistent story or let the characters really grow (partially because status quo is God in these names, partially because the writers probably change a lot), so the ideal scenario for me is that we get a relaxed Slice of Life game where I can just track my daily life with Levi. But that's probably too much to ask... and also probably monetizable enough for Solmare to pursue.

They've already announced a Kickstarter for the app, which I find very strange since we know very little about the new app and it's not as if they're a small company. Solmare and the Shall We Date series have been around for a long time now.

I want to be excited, and I laughed when I saw the video because I was just talking about planning an EdeLevi/garden snake wedding commission for next summer yesterday. And Levi's ring appears to be some sort of orange fruit, maybe? Perhaps just an actual orange? Which would be fantastic since that's Eden's motor. Solmare read my mind with this. But I don't anticipate that the game itself will be worth playing. 😔

At the very least, I hope it's primarily 2D because I do not care for 3D models in my otome and gacha games! I find them unsettling!

Jade has come home very easily for everything except his club card (I haven't managed to get ANY of them except Rook, who showed up THREE TIMES while I was just trying to get Trey! Idk why they're so elusive!!!) and it kind of scares me. Why are you playing so easy to get?

I think I should just delete everything I'm not using and that isn't from one of my fave creators (e.g., I would keep all Trillyke and Sentate's CC even if it's not currently in use).

I just downloaded Mod Manager, so hopefully that'll make it easier to get shit out. And THEN maybe I can rearrange my CC some...

I could honestly delete all my child CAS CC and start from fresh there...

I also put Toli in some new swimsuits because that's what I do when I have no creative juices. I want to either spin up designs for OC ideas I've had or work on making over my townies, but nothing feels right lately!

I've thought about asking a Simmer on tumblr what sliders they used to get even bigger boobs on their Super Pochaco (and maybe also a bigger tummy), but I'm a little afraid that will break all my tops and/or make it impossible to make small boobs. I've had that problem in the past when I had more sliders.

So I put Levi in the new "mommy issues" shirt I realized I had and some purple underwear for a new pajamas outfit, then promptly forgot to take pictures of it.

Levi may not even have mommy issues (but they're also possible since having been originally an angel means he never had a mom), but it feels correct, especially since Eden's got the "your son calls me mommy, too" shirt, which... I guess she can wear if she ever goes back to church. Woof.

But I DID remember to take pictures of the new casual outfits I gave Levi. I love that the sheer amount of outfits we've seen in cards, merch, and collabs means that a whole bunch of things can go. Levi most often wears athleisure within the story, and his (unpictured) primary outfit reflects that, but I don't have a lot of bright athleisure that really suits him, so his alternate outfits just lean into him being a weeb.

Eden also has the same skirt in a different swatch for one of her cold weather outfits (also featured, for funsies). The skirt has a bunch of swatches, so I couldn't resist. Plus I like when they have similar items. Maybe they bought them together.

Dammit, I forgot his nail polish.

I succumbed to peer pressure and began playing Ikemen Prince.

There are several suitors I'm interested in, but God has sent me on a holy mission to blueball Jin and steal all his hoes from right under his nose until he begs to see what miraculous thing I've got that brings all the boys and girls to the yard. (It's a motley collection of teas and dildos.)

Anyway, it's going about the way you'd expect. I'm sure Jin is happy with the current situation.
