Today is even hazier than yesterday, when air quality was so poor that mountaintops were blocked from many valley views. Hikers reported leaving Trails early after being beset by coughing and their hair and gear smelling of smoke following mere two hour stretches in the poor AQI.

Wet run, 6 miles, kept it under 9 minute mile on a new route up north (barely!). Found an abandoned farm house too, very lovely route. All but 200 feet were paved, mostly gravel and water, as former logging roads go 😆
