Watched #SuperIntelligence on #Netflix because the trailer seemed mildly interesting and because #MelissaMcCarthy can surprise on occasion by straying from her normal dial-it-in-for-the-paycheck and deliver something quite special.

Reader, this is not one of those occasions.

The script is dire, the story is uninspired, the humour is weak at best and the ending is simultaneously utterly predictable and vomit-inducingly cheesy.

Avoid. Watch #NinePerfectStrangers or #CanYouEverForgiveMe instead.

Just watched Can You Ever Forgive Me?, which was the first film directed by Marielle Heller for me. I need to see some more, for sure.

I have worked with her husband Hitler. Or Jorma Taccone who played Hitler in Kung Fury 1 & 2 but I only met the guy in full Hitler-makeup. Nice guy! (Jorma, that is.)
