I started with my favourite, so let's continue this weird top... whatever. Mask Gardienne Hibou Première. First woman Gardienne, hence the conjugation. The Talon Dive is one of the rare kicks, and it's here for the wonderful execution. It's a souped up dropkick, sure... but whenever they pull it out, they use this loving combo of wire work and current vf/x to make Hibou's final look good. Every time Première returns, it looks better.

On reflection, I do find it funny that my second favourite Masked Gardien finish is Crucible's (2007
) BearBrawl. It's like with Okada with the Rainmaker— just a short clothesline, but delivered well. And then there's BearBeserk's finisher, which is this charging monster lariat that makes you wonder how the monster actors still in costume?

Friends, what is the best Masked Gardien Final Rush, and why is it Solo's Beat Maximum Drive?

Because, no, shut up, the Beat Drop is a proper cutter that Diamond Dallas and Randy Orton have praised. He's locking it in as the Memory says BEAT and landing on MAXIMUM DRIVE, instead of all that preluding it. It is poetry.
