Every corporation, every billionaire, that threatens to leave if their taxes creep anywhere close to equitable?
Immediately wave them goodbye, call their bluff. We don't need them at all.
Oblige them to leave the business assets behind when they leave. The gap they leave can be rapidly filled with *smaller business* that has less outsized political access and is properly disciplined to operate in the local community.
Of course, most of them won't leave despite their squealing threats.
